      16. Alex Harvey....Gang Bang....from the Next.... LP. A little 70's debauchery for a thursday eve.

      1. Bloody Diamonds.... She Ain't Pretty....from a live to air on Radio WW 9/27/2012. And they'll be playing live at APK Saturday April 25th. Great combo from Halifax that makes the effort to tour this way every year of so.

      2. Black Frame Spectacle...A Line In The Sand...from their Grady Sessions CD. Dorchester 2 piece that will be playing with Bloody Diamonds on Sat nite.

      3. 905s...What Are We Receiving....from their Shake Down CD that just came out. Brampton Ontario, just outside of Toronto is their home.

      4. Intrusions.....WSIB...from their very recent demo. Aylmer Ontario combo who are hosting a big bash in their hometown on Saturday night!

      5. Noble Savages...Fire In The World....latest demo from this bunch of Hamilton hoodlums. Saw them play a coupla weeks ago and new drummer Stacey Case really adds a whallop to their sound.

      6. Mooney Suzuki...Electric Sweat....from the CD of the same name from 2002 and goes out to loyal listener Mike Baarda!

      7. Demics....400 Blows...from their self titled LP. This was a song that used to get me up and dancing many years ago!

      8. UIC....Pushed In To The Hole....from the Wiseman Sessions.  UIC at their finest and we're still waiting for this to come out on vinyl with pics and liner notes. The nephew of Dave Robinson (vocals) and Fred Robinson (guitar) phoned in to thank me for playing this one! And nephew Mike's kids were listening....that would make Fred and Dave their great uncles!! It's an incestuous situation happening here!

      9. Fred McDowell and Johnny Woods....Shake 'Em On Down...from the Memphis Swamp Jam double LP from 1969. 2 guys with a guitar and a harmonica and it sounds like a steam engine taking off through a late night deserted downtown. Industrial noise at its finest!! And this song blows my mind every time i hear it!

      10. John Hammond....Who Do You Love?...from his So Many Roads LP from 1965. Part of John's backup band is The Band, prior to, when they were up and coming cats that could play just about anything! That Robbie Robertson guitar solo sure does rip!!

      11. Howlin' Wolf....I'm Evil...from a greatest hits record and recorded back in 1954. Next time you see Kerry Piper, ask him about the time he got Howlin' Wolf to autograph his menu!

      12.  Speaking Tongues....What's Yer Story....from their debut CD. 2 piece blues/boogie/punk combo outta Toronto who played here a number of times before packing it in. Drummer Pete sometimes plays harp for catl when they do a Toronto show.

      13. Skirt Chasers....Train Riding...from their only CD. Another 2 piece outta Toronto that fueled up on boogie/blues and punk to create a wild and exciting sound!

      14. Immortal Lee County Killers...Boom Boom...from their These Bones Will Rise To Love You Again CD from 2005. And indeed the title is true every time i listen to this song and think about listening to Skip James. These guys blew through town just after releasing this one and were absolutely devastating on the stage of Call The Office. Then they promptly broke up.

      15. Hiroshima Hearts...14 Floors...from a recent demo. HH are playing at the next Rock'n'Roll Rent Party on May 3rd and then again a live to air here on Radio WW on May 14th. You've been warned, so take appropriate action!

      16. Larry Lee....Odd Man Out...from the Larry Lee and The Leesures LP. Early 60's and local and this song used to get covered by local rbilly combo, The Black Holes.

      17. Mckenna Mendelson Mainline....Think I'm Losing My Marbles....from the Stink LP and features Mendelson Joe on the lead vocals on this one. There's a short documentary on MJ somewhere out in youtube land covering his present life and art.

      18. Legend Killers....Strychnine....from their very first demos 1986. Local combo who appeared on every What Wave compilation cassette and also released a 7" on WW Records back in 1989.

      19. Miracle Workers....I'm Hung Up....from the Moxies Revenge LP on Get Hip Records from 1989. Moxie was the original label that these some of these sessions appeared on back in about 1983.

      20. Link Wray....Batman....from the Early Recordings LP on Ace Records. Link played Call The Office 9/17/1999.

      21. The Cramps.... Don't Eat Stuff Off The Sidewalk....from the 1981 LP, Psychedelic Jungle. One of my all time fave LP's!!

      22. The Cramps...Can't Find My Mind.... as above.

      23. The Litter....Action Woman...from Pebbles Volume 1. Big Thanx to Greg Shaw of Bomp Records for starting the ball rolling with his Pebbles series of compilations of 60's garage punk. 27 volumes in total and then about 23 more of Highs In The Mid 60's LP's!!

      24. The Satans.... Makin' Deals....from Pebbles Volume 2.

      25. Count Bishops.... Teenage Letter....from the Speedball Plus 11 CD on Chiswick Records. 1975 protopunk'n'roll!!!

Big Thanx to all the phoners, emailers, facebook messagers and people saying HEY!!! Much Appreciated.
Back again next week with more noise to annoy.

    • No, this is not a joke. I've been thinking about doing this for quite some time now, and the time to do it has arrived. I'm looking forward to finally getting this monkey off my back and calling it a day. The GaragePunk.com Web domain name and the associated hosting account with HostISO is for sale. This includes the GaragePunk Hideout and Facebook page and the Hideout Comp Series (e.g., the GRGPNK Records Bandcamp), but does NOT include GaragePunk Pirate Radio or its associated Twitter feed, which I will continue to manage via a separate domain/blog. There is no set sale price... I will simply sell it to the highest bidder on or about July 1, 2015. If no one steps forward to take it off my hands by then, I'll simply pull the plug on the site and it will cease to exist. Please do NOT post offers below; instead, email me directly at kopper (at) garagepunk.com.

    • OH, I just looked at the download options and they are indeed trecherous. This may help... once you click onto the page for the episode you want... you can obviously listen in the player on the page, or you can save the file by right clicking on the VBR MP3 file at the bottom of the page, and selecting 'save link as...' You know it's the original file because it is 38.0 MB for this episode... most episode are around 40 MB. The will give you a file you can drop onto your ipod.

    • April 16, 2015 6:07 PM CDT
    • OK Ho-Dad, so now for us technilogically inept, how do we navigate these trecherous waters, to download on our i-pod devices.???

Thanks, and where's the dead skin you promised us, back on your surfcast??

    • I've been re uploading the old Killed By Porn episodes onto archive.org...

you can find them by going to archive.org and searching killed By Porn (https://archive.org/search.php?query=killed%20by%20porn)

I'm up to episode 36 and uploading more as I get time... archive.org doesn't always list them in order, but the first 36 are there.

As soon as I get all 69 of the originals back online, I'll have to find the surfcast episodes I did, and I may even upload the Killed By Porn #70 I made 3 years ago.

    • Unfortunately most of our earlier shows that were being uploaded to Blip.tv (and later, Mevio.com) are all gone since BOTH of those hosting services ceased support for audio files (and I think Mevio morphed into some other name entirely). That's the risk you take when you rely on third-party hosts, I guess. It's possible that someone has them stored on a hard drive or CDR somewhere, though. Duke might have them himself. You could always ask him directly: http://www.garagepunk.com/profile/Eastwood

    • Hey guys, I'm trying to figure out the names of two songs by two bands from the 1982 cult flick, Whatever Happened To Susan Jane? First song is a Synthpunk tune, second is more of an offbeat Post-Punk/No Wave tune. Can anyone identify these for me??
