Adam Sheets → swt: I'll download that one now. I just subscribed to your podcast a few months ago, so I missed a lot of the early episodes. But as for Angry Johnny, I think the Razor Blade Suit album is a masterpiece, especially the song "Death is Driving a Pontiac".

Bio I am a music blogger for NoDepression.com, the top place for Americana and roots music on the web (although I often try to stretch the boundaries there) and I also am the co-founder, along with Shooter Jennings, of the XXX music movement. I an also the lead vocalist and primary lyricist for Adam Sheets & the Crosstown Rebellion, a loose-knit outlaw country-flavored heartland punk trio composed of myself and a few friends.
Favorite Music Great music is great music regardless of the label one puts on it. But with that said, I do have a special place for rockabilly. MacDonald, Elmore Leonard, Larry McMurtry, Stephen King, The Executioner series by Don Pendleton, Arthur Machen, Edgar Allan Poe, and basically any pulp fiction from the '30s, '40s, or '50s. My favorite non-fiction works include Helter Skelter by Vincent Bugliosi and anything by Peter Guralnick.
