I believe that punk is about being yourself, and not caring about what other people think about you. I think the culture incompasses individuality and a DIY way of life.

Here is my punk collection so far (G N’ R’s “The Spaghetti Incident?” and Joan Jett’s “Up Your Alley” excluded). Does anybody have any band suggestions based on the albums in my collection? I have some suggestions based on the photo of your collection. Esquirita- Vintage Voola ( Norton records), The U.K Subs( i just nabbed the recent "Original punks original hits double cd" which covers a lot of their stuff), Anything by The Dictators or The Stooges,Angry Samoans- Inside my brain, Back from the grave - 1960s punk compilation series on Crypt records to name a few. I agree that there’s nothing wrong with Joan Jett. The reason “Up Your Alley” and GNR’s “The Spaghetti lncident?” were excluded was because they were at a different house than the rest of my punk albums.

By the way, Eagle, thanks for the help. I’ve listened to that Esquerita album a few times, and I’ve listened to half of the UK Subs album so far.
