Looking for female-fronted french garage

I'm looking for garage (or psychpop, retro-yé-yé etc) with female vocalists that sings in french. Preferably contemporary stuff. The Limiñanas is a good example of the kind of stuff that I'm looking for.

As far as I understand a lot of the distortion in garage rock comes from overdrive distortion from tube amplifiers (or tube pre-amps). Buying tube amplifiers and abusing them might be out of your price range but there's pedals and stuff that mimics the effect.

Good bands from the sixties and seventies that are active today

Anyone know of any good bands from the sixties and seventies that are active today? Mainly looking for garage, psych or punk. I just know of a couple of bands like The Pretty Things, The Sonics, Radio Birdman.
