LEVI AND THE ROCKATS (wHO killed AT green Bay.) , Buzz and the Flyers , Deke Dickerson and true living legends , Sleepy LaBeef , Huelyn Duvall and Joe Clay are playing , too , as well as Dion... But , everyone tells me , now , it's a zoo. I went to the first one , when there were probably only several hundred to a thousand people , and virtually no filler. less

The FRANCS
Went last year (going this year) and Los Straightjackets were the headliners. Not exactly Rockabilly, but it was a great set and people dug it! Sonics should be well received. Interested to see what Dion will bring. Should be fun.

Eddie Angel and Deke Dickerson each did a solo set with a house band. Yeah , The Sonics will kill it , no question about that. I thought Dion a bit of an odd choice , don't get me wrong , I like him. Los Straitjackets have always been popular with the Rockabilly crowd.

Well , it's always important to get behind your local , and touring , bands...I can't recommend too many , here , in Chicago , besides The Dyes , Rockin' Johnny Band , Polkaholics , and better known acts , around here , like NoBunny and White Mystery.
