How's the scene in Plymouth?

Bio Born in East Germany, bit of an unsettled childhood due to personal, political and otherwise upheaval. Lived in different European countries and continuously trying to find out what it is that defines me, I eventually found a new home in Plymouth a few years ago, more or less by accident. Really loving the local scene and attitude of DIY punk and 'whatever, let's just do it - see what happens'. Now at the tender age of 30 I am reliving my teens and 20s again, going out to gigs and club nights every few days, getting to know great people and loving the fact that I can just be myself and people really appreaciate that in each other here.
Favorite Music Punk/Rock (in most it's varieties incl. garage and electro), Kinks, Small Faces, Dr Feelgood, Buzzcocks, Ramones, Le Tigre, Joy Division, Dissociates, Frank Turner, Skints ... 60s, Northern Soul, Motown, Ska, - generally anything edgy, messy and stuff that makes me want to jump around on the dance floor like a loony. Favorite Movies Harold & Maude
Other Hobbies/Interests Going to gigs and dancing. Travelling and meeting my friends who live across Europe. Second hand furniture and clothes buying, amending, sewing etc
