Bio
I've been writing, performing and home-recording original music for six years or so in a relatively-small town with little recognition or respect. I don't know where the kind of punk I write / play fits in, though I most certainly identify as punk. Some of what I do is pretty garagey, some of it leans in a more hardcore or post punk direction - regardless, i have little time or respect for codified and restrictive genre lines as a listener or a performer. i don't think it's what punk has been or ever should be about.
there's a distinct twee aspect to what i do as well, but it's more a snotty, fuck-you kind of twee and not an ironic, arch twee. you know what i mean. i hope.
