Nicky → Recordgrooves: yeah Eddy Current SR are good, australia and NZ have quite a few garage bands kicking around, they don't have a big following but are best served live!

i don't think Baseball have any vinyl records but they do have few CD's. there's a few free live recording available here http://www.trainwreck2020.com/mp3.html just right click on the titles and "save as" they were recorded buy a couple of DIY melbourne guys who organise awesome live gigs as well as this they records bands and make video clips for them.
Recordgrooves: Huge Drones fan here, that Australian Twang & Punk is right on time. I will be progressively delighted to learn more about it.
