Bio
One of the few unknown musical acts who were part of Brian Epstien's stable of stars, The Sisters of Mersey were signed by the "Nemporer" on the urgings of John Lennon, who had caught their act at various music venues in Hamburg, Germany in 1961. Cuter, and certainly a lot more rocking then that coat check girl from the Cavern, that he had had in mind, the "Nemporer" took his chances with the "Sisters". Though they never acquired a hit single, their live show in both the cities of Hamburg and Liverpool are legendary. By the time the Sisters had broken up, they had all been granted refugee status in Canada on compassionate grounds where they all continue to live unbeknownst to each other; Sister Jenn married a proctologist and Sister Louise moved in with a handsome yet unsuccessful haberdasher. Brother Dan's whereabouts remain a mystery as he disappeared one day into a cloud of smoke, only to be replaced by the dashing Jimgo Clarr, who remains the faithful beat behind the "sisters" sound.
