LIPSTICK VIBRATORS it’s a pure wild punk garage !
5 old mates who meet to make vibrate the hears of the aficionados of Rock’n’roll. Influenced by bands like New Bomb Turks, Cramps, Stooges, Johnny Thunders, Devil Dogs or Dead Boys, it’s not the first shoot of the Lipstick since they result from bands like Defenestrors, Spermicide, Maximum Kouettes, La Fraction and Sens Interdit so we can say that the mix is underdressed.
A charismatic singer who barks himself and roll around the floor, 2 incisive and powerful guitars, a loud and sweet bass and a strong and wild drum, here is the fatal cocktail of the Lipstick Vibrators.
Born in Paris in 2006 by Mickey Dildo (rhythmic guitar) and Tom Idle (lead guitar), Lipstick Vibrators tried several line-up before fixing it in September 2007 around Dandy Pumpkin (voice), Coxs Tornado (bass) and Matt the Crusher (drum). Their first show was in August the 31st 2008 in Paris at La Miroiterie, a famous DIY venue. From that day they won’t stop to play not just in Paris but all over France with a first 5 days tour in the south in March 2009. Since their first show they’ve open for bands like Jello Biafra, The Vibrators, The Lords of Altamont, Agent Orange, The Mochines …
