Bio
It all started on a cold blustery night when Alex and Kray were bored and cold and needed something to do besides watch "Kids in The Hall". They decided to play some tunes together. They learned a couple of covers and then wrote an original and decided that was more fun and to do that instead. So, that's what they did. As they wrote more songs and played more, their boredom dissipated. They ventured outside Alex's lair and into the world of Open Mics. Kray finally got an electric guitar that didn't sound like poop and they decided they needed a drummer. Their friend Ryan played drums so they asked him to play for them, and he said yes and fireworks went off and all of that good stuff. After months of practicing and trying to remember their own songs they decided they needed a bassist. That was hard to find because everyone was too busy and deep down probably was scared they would contract a disease from us, so it didn't work out. Until on all Hallow's Eve Night when a pirate in the distance who called himself Lee announced to us that he could play bass and would love to come jam. And jammed they did. And the played shows together as one big happy family until it became clear that Lee had to part ways and focus his energies on his band called "Long Past Due" they collectively decided that their last show as the current foursome would be on 1.11.13 The Grubs CD Release Party at the Chit Chat Lounge in Haverhill, MA...in the deep dark shadows of bradford was a mighty tall and bright bassman called Brian, he played in Lee's stead at Hellrazor Events "The Indignation Reruin" on 8.25.12 with Kray, Ryan, and Alex and that night a little seed was planted and now that seed has grown into a pretty sweet plant infested by grubs. As the recordings have been unearthed so has the next infestation begun. 8 shows later and ending in Hellrazor Events "NUNS HELL" at Veasey Memorial Park in Groveland,MA Brian Messenger has decided to move on to his own band called "Back Alley Ramblers", his time was short but it was all in great fun as he is a close and dear friend to us all...soonly thereafter it became evident that Sam Morse (formerly of Siberian Death March and Long Past Due) would be the perfect fit to round out our little band of knuckleheads, his wild energy and creative metal roots were just what we were missing...GRUBON!
