I got a Burns Double Six recently for $900 USD.  Very happy with it to say the least.  If I were to have gone the chaepo route, I would also have been very happy with the Dano but they weren't reissuing them at the time.  Now they are.  Musician's Friend $300

I got a Rickenbacker copy off of ebay a few years ago. It was made in indonesia, no specific make on it. It has done a pretty good job, not quite as nice as a rickenbacker but it only cost me $300.

A brand that I would check out would be Agile. I have a 12 string they made and it is great! Cost me the same as the Rickenbacker copy. Another brand to check out would be Dillion.

A brilliant set only interrupted by Dick Scum feeling unwell ( i thought he was going to pop his fucking clogs) but he finished the number Val Doonican style on a bar stool. What a bleeding trooper.

I've been listening to this kind of music for a good long while. I love oldies stations (or loved, I guess, there's not any around here anymore), anything manic and raw, and anything Nuggets-esque. I love talking about music, writing music, recording music, and performing music. I don't like getting into pissing matches with hipsters about obscurities. I like meeting nice people.

I'd love it if there were some adults who liked this kind of rock and roll in the Tulsa area, because I feel like I've already met or are playing with most of them, lol. @Justin - It doesn't really work like that, the similar artists are determined by people's listening habits, and how they tag bands/songs. You basically have to find people on there who listen to bands that YOU think your band sounds like, and add them as friends, then ask them to listen to and tag your band. It's a huge pain in the ass.

As far as the photos go, I think you're pretty much screwed. Last.fm is all Wiki-based, so anyone can add whatever they want and it seems like there's very little moderation going on over there.

I guess it's my fault for ignoring last.fm for the last four years. Anyone else have their band's stuff up there? Have you ever had this problem? Right now we're trying to get our street team to "scrobble" so that this gets fixed, but they don't say how often they re-set the "similar artists" thingy
