The Clamat are a band born in Bologna in March 2015, formed by Simone Martini Zimmy on bass (Johnny Clash, Lucky Strikes, Generation Mongoloid), Alessandro Piretti on drums (Rock & The Swampfires, La Mafia Del Baile) and Michele Giuliani to voice and electric guitar.
The band members have played in various bands with a common background based Alternatives, Rock'n Roll, Garage and Rhythm and Blues, and the sound proposed by Clamat is the mix between these experiences and the shared passion for the African rhythms, Funk and the German Kraut Rock.
These multiple influences make Clamat a band is difficult to place in a single genre.
