The Triangle is way cool. You could do way worse. Although I am less connected to the local cognoscenti as I was years ago, I can, at a minimum, point you to the right clubs.

Sorry for slowness of response. Yes, The Cave is cool and cozy. My 60's band, Thee Dirtybeats, played there Friday night. Nice show I thought, but severely impacted by the many other cool bands playing elsewhere in town the same evening.
