Hey, thanks for the add and beer advice! By any chance, are you a fan of La Fin du Monde?

I've never left the States. Would you tell me your impressions of living in Montreal, punk scene, what makes it so cool to you, etc?

Nice to make your acquaintance Dave. La Fin Du Monde is good. Trois Pistoles is also good and relatively common. These ones get exported but a lot of the best stuff is from microbreweries and doesn't leave Quebec. I kind of take it for granted now how ...  more

Nice to make your acquaintance Dave. La Fin Du Monde is good. Trois Pistoles is also good and relatively common. These ones get exported but a lot of the best stuff is from microbreweries and doesn't leave Quebec. I kind of take it for granted now how much of a beer lover's paradise it is.

As for the city itself, I moved out here from Western Canada about 5 years ago and the contrast is huge. There's always something to do. There's a lot more people interested in my kind of trashy music/film/whatever and because of this there are a lot more events to go to. Love it.

Let me know if you are ever plan on visiting the city.
