Bio
Felony Bebop Club, NYC’s originators of Maximum RnB. A high octane bop machine that is a mix of driving rhythm and garage rock swagger. People say they make little kid music played for adults because the gigs are like an inebriated recess with electric guitars. Born from the stoops of Queens, “The Club” is an original take off of classic, dirty - RnB, but cooked up into a main line shot of bop. Guitarist Danny Nez, a fixture on the NYC music scene fronts the band, laying down riffs with fellow music scene veteran, guitarist Kristen Backside. The heart of “The Club” is found with drummer Mike Bricks and bassist Russ Hell. “The Club” stands alone in boasting the only RnB chorus in NYC, with Ann Bananas and Trish A’Lish providing back-up vocals and sassafras. The band is a spectacle but the tunes are unforgettable. So, why you gotta be like that?! GET UP AND DANCE!
