Gentleman John Battles, thank you for the Chicago suggestions! We initially thought we had an Empty Bottle date wrapped up, but their talent buyer won't respond to our emails now, so we'll try some of your other suggestions.
kopper, thanks for your help in trying to get us a St. Louis show. We appreciate it! We'd love to play either Chicago or St. Louis. We'll keep you updated.
Lyres are looking to fill two dates in the Midwest in April: Thursday, April 16th; and Friday, April 17th. We're playing in Davenport, IA at Ragged Records on Record Store Day, Saturday, April 18th, and in Peoria, IL at Younger Than Yesterday on Sunday, April 19th. We'd like to book that Thursday and Friday in St. Louis, Chicago, Champaign, Milwaukee, Madison, etc...
Hey everybody. I've recently begun travelling every other week to Raleigh NC for work. Any suggestions on record shops, venues, tattoo shops, places to hang out, sight seeing, etc. etc? I haven't gotten to do much exploring yet, and it hasn't seemed like much has been going on. Interested in any recommendations you got...

I think there's some action in the Carbondale area... or, at least, there was at one time.
You guys definitely seem like the authority on this, my question is was there (or is there currently) a garage rock scene or any garage records done in the southern Illinois/Western Kentucky area? Just wanting to know if my neck of the woods has any garage rock history. Any info appreciated.
We have room on our bill for another Garage Punk band for a philly show. Hit me up!
O.k. we are good on Friday 14th...just need Saturday. If anyone has some leads we can follow that would be great too! Bands/clubs/promoters etc.
Narco States needs to fill some tour dates FRIDAY NOVEMBER 14th or SATURDAY NOVEMBER 15th and would like to do it around Wisconsin or Iowa...can anyone help us???
If you are in a band , say where you are from and what the band name is
If your a fan do the same.

For a history fix, Plimoth Plantation is only 45 minutes south of the city. It's a high quality living history museum of 1620s Plymouth - you know, Pilgrims and Indians.
Spending a few days in Boston. What's the lowdown on bars, music venues, record stores, restaurants, museums, historical stuff, etc...
Fun fest at Foxfield in Cola-town, SC this Saturday, baby...squares beware:
Parasite Diet (Amazing power pop/punk from Kentucky!)
Thee Knee Jerks (Soda City garagepunk do-gooders)
Coral Reefer Madness (Instro surf to soothe the soul)
The last great show of the summer!!!
