Hi Shaun! Do you have a band that wants to play gigs in Thailand, or do you mean releasing an album here? Most underground bands here self-release their CDs and sell at gigs and a few indie record shops. There was a great surf punk band in Bangkok that did well for a couple of years called Klong Riders - here are some of their sounds if you'd like to check them out: https://soundcloud.com/the-klong-riders

I do want to hear about new stuff from thailand. Any chance you know how a surf/surf punk band can get on some music to Thailand?

I'll be writing a blog about garage rock, punk and underground music in Thailand if anybody would like to check it out. I'll try to write about new bands as I discover them and provide links to their music or web pages, as well as some info about venues, playing gigs in Bangkok etc. I'll also occasionally write some stuff about interesting bands and events in Australia. Cheers!

Cool fliers! The Go-Devils are great, but recently I was in Tokyo and I couldn't find any of their 7'' singles.. I might be back there again later this year - do you know of any record shops in Tokyo that are likely to have any of their releases?
Cheers!
Hi, just saw your post - looks like you're doing cool stuff! I play in a trash garage rockabilly band in Bangkok called Plastic Section, and we'd love to be considered for one of your releases if you're still looking for bands based in Southeast Asia. (I just sent you an email with link etc.).
Cheers, keep rockin'!
Hey, what s new ?
Sweet. I was just informed that our financial backing dropped so priorities have shifted. Right now I want to focus on getting our music to any outlets I can Podcasts or radio shows, etc. Until we can get the financial backing back in place.
Hi. I play in Bunt. My name is Chuckles. (real name Charles Coleman) I'll see what I can do in regards to Japan as we play there every October. I've also got a mate in Korea and have heard of a booker here in Sydney, Australia that can get you a Chinese tour.
Thee Swank Bastards are a surf or surf/garage or surf punk band, depending on the recording or show. What can I do to get our music into the Far East? Anyone who wants it I will send a link to our recordings. All I ask is that you share it. I would also appreciate if you sent me addresses to anyone that does podcasts. We just signed to Dionysus and Trend is Dead Records and will have two or three new records out by the end of the year.

Same here. I think I've only bought Blunt the one those. However I've bought a lot of others for the Cd's more than once.
A cover mount is a CD attached to the front of a magazine. I think they're worth it. I'll buy magazines just for the discs.
What's a cover mount? I have one of the early Blunt comps. I remember liking the tracks by Blood Duster and Front End Loader. The rest I've forgotten about.

Hi, Toshi. I play in Bunt. We've played the live house scene in Japan every year since 2009. How did you go with this project?
The gigs are being booked for 2013 in October. Really looking at getting back. :)
I'd like to see that. We played a Sex, Fury and Rock 'n' Roll. I have a few of the DVDs as well. :)
look forward to the completed documentary
