Guitar Wolf = Best band ever !!!

I guess you don't really need the "Golden Black" compilation then...unless you're a freaky collector !

And what about "Dead Rock" and "Spacebattleshiplove" ?

      You don't like the new line-up ?

Pretty damned solid collection Mike !!!

Being myself quite obsessed by The Damned (and late 70s UK punk in general) in my teens, I think I may own one or two vinyls I can't see on these cool pix.

In the 45 category, I'm thinking about a pink (vinyl is pink, cover is the generic Stiff records black cover) 7" edition of "Don't cry Wolf"/"One way Love"; another 7 " (a bootleg) called "Something Weird" (ltd edition of 200) from around 1986 I believe featuring live renditions of "L.A. woman", "Just can't be happy today" and "Lively Arts".

Oh, and my "Eloise" 7" has a slightly different cover.

In the LP section, I have also a picture vinyl of "Damned Damned Damned"; a simple edition of the "Black Album" (minus the "Curtain Call" platter) with a plain black cover; a few compilations ("Another great record from the Damned", "Light at the end of the tunnel"...) and a few live bootlegs ("Too much to drink in Southend", "Ballroom Blitz").

And I have to say, it's the 2nd time only I see that (bootleg) 7" version of "Love song"/"Burglar" (2nd pic, top right). The 1st copy I've met, decades ago, is in my living room now, partying hard with its happy waxen companions.

      Cheers !!!

The Damned followed by the Ramones. Mostly because they both have released so many damned (get it?) records and 7" sleeve variations etc etc that sucker a collector nerd like me to buy. No picture of me, but a set a photos I'd snapped for another forum. I have to give credit though to an old friend who sold me his entire Damned 7" collection back in the 80's. I knew it hurt him, but he knew it was going to a good home. That's where a good chunk of my Damned and Capt. Sensible singles came from.

This video is awesome, the Epsilon dudes doing a fake Laguna Beach episode:

Bringing things back on topic, doesn't qualify as Garage, but I've got about 150 releases/live boots from New Order. It's like 5 days worth of music. Granted it's all digital.

I'd have to count but it's probably the Beatles, Kinks, Dylan or the Stones. Mainly because there are very few bands that have ever put out more than 3 or 4 good albums.

Bob Dylan. It started off as a competition between my dad and I to see who could find the most obscure recording. So far I have approximately 200 records, CD and tapes from various concerts and outtakes. Not to mention the officlal recordings

Yeah lol. When I'm in need for metal I always put on Sepultura for old times.

But I was counting my vinyl collection and there is most with The Rolling Stones or 10 records (from my mom's collection) but I bought Their Satanic Majesties Request! There is also bunch of Rory Gallagher and U2(hell yeah). My personal record in records(lol) would be lp's from Spirit or 5 and next there is The Ventures or 4 records.

Off the top of my head I would say The Seeds but it is not a complete collection, I think I miss one 45, and I had to sell compilations when I moved from UK to US.

Why the Seeds?  I love them of course and L.S.D. convinced me 2 notes were better than 3.

Also a side note - I was fired from my Duke University Radio Show after my Tribute to Sky Saxon Show for opening the show with "Fuck Michael Jackson what about Sky Saxon?"  Seems I forgot The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) rules.  It was a well received show with Sky's wife emailing the station to say thank you to me and they had more Continental listeners than ever before....

Gene Vincent, early Stones, Billy Childish in all incarnations, Brian Jonestown Massacre and Johnny Cash are the ones that spring to mind, quite a bit of Lee Hazlewood too!

Tanx Alex! The Cramps have been turning my crank since 1980 and i never tire of their records. Recently joined the Stay Sick group for The Cramps that i found out about somewhere on this here Hideout and that's opened up another door for tons of live downloads by The Cramps as well as demos and Cramps faves.

Here's a link to Kogar's Blogspot that has lots of Cramps and related downloads...

      OK Alex...you asked for it:

First shot is the brand new Cramps box set of 7" records that is on Munster Records...the pictures of Bryan alone are worth the cost...

2nd shot is some LP's and some singles...couple of the LP's are missing covers as they were damaged in a flood many years ago.

3rd shot is more LP's with some boots mixed in....

For me it's The Flamin' Groovies, The Cramps and The Rolling Stones.

With The Groovies, they were one of the first modern bands to really take their influences from the mid 60's and because of that, i had to have everything by them...singles, LP's and a ton of boots.

The Cramps were another HUGE influence on me...great songs, best live show, loads of songs they covered that i just had to have. Just recently bought a 7" box set by The Cramps on Munster Records that has amazing sound quality.

The Stones and The Beatles were my faves in the 60's, but in the long run, i prefer the Stones. At least right up to Some Girls when it all turned into shit...
