Any movie with a dedication to "The Smell of Charlton Comics" in the credits belongs in your collection.
JTX - 'The Sore Losers' is a good one.
.....Also "Long Legged Girl" (With a Short Dress On) , by Elvis. Not only is it the closest to Garage Punk he ever got ("Never SAY YES" , A DISTANT SECOND.), BUT IT Clocks in at less than a minute and a half....And a LOT happens in that time. Probably his shortest song .
"River Ran Dry" Reverend Horton Heat. Used to be a staple in his live act , but , was'nt releases for well over 20 years after it was first performed. He actually added a verse to make it longer , but , it basically consisted of a verse repeated twce , a connecting phrase , a short guitar solo , and a cloud of smoke.
May I suggest the Bobbyteens excellent 1996 single Firecracker (1 min 16 sec) b/w Hey Roxy (1 min 08 sec). Fuckin' ace!
DAWNED ON ME , I DON'T THINK I HAVE THAT SINGLE. NOW , I HAVE A QUEST (WHERE AREMY COCNUT SHELLS?).

Sounds like it's about Abigail Van Buren ,"Dear Abby" , probably the world's most famous advice columnist (Not that the advice she dispensed was always any better than what you or I MIGHT SUGGEST.).

Thought i'd throw the Kennedys in there. No idea who Abby is? But she got some good advice, haha

Is that Neil Innes' You Tube page ? I've seen him several times. If you like The Bonzos , as you do , you should check out Martin Mull's music LPs from The 70's. Before he broke on TV ,with Fernwood 2Nite , America 2Nite , and later......(Ulp) Rosanne , he was , easily , America's answer to The Bonzo Dog Band.

"Year One " by X . Did for "No Trespassing"by The Ventures what The Cramps did for so many other instros. "I'm Coming Over " must be 1:30 or less , too.
that was a great tune, was'nt it on a bullshit detector or sumat.

The radio show I co-host (The Big Mix) is being truncated this week due to a high school football game (The not so Big Mix?). Shorter show = shorter songs (< 1:30). Tune in at 5:30 Central this Friday to se what my favorite shorties are (or not).
The Dickies' "She Loves Me (She Loves Me Not)" and "I'm a Cholo" were always a must when I was making mix tapes (I still do.) and had about 45 seconds left over.
Obviously , songs like "Base King" and "Party With Me Punker" by The Minutemen fulfilled the same function , but , I never followed them that much. Liked 'em , saw 'em once , and was very sorry about D.Boon , but , was'nt as into 'em as a lot of my friends.
