JOHNNY THROTTLE debut-LP
THE GAGGERS 'Rip You Apart'
THE JUJU'S 'You Treated Me Bad'
DIE ERSTEN MENSCHEN 'Apocalypse Now & Then'
ATOMIC SUPLEX 'Bathroom Party'
IRRITONES 'Penis Romantique'
THE SPITS 's/t'
MARK SULTAN 'Whatever/Whenever I Want'
ABOUT BLANKS '12 Boring Blasts'
Titles elude me , sorry , but last years "Product " from Pierced Arrows , Lemmy's Head Cat , Michael Monroe , Alarm Clocks , The Dyes , Sonics , Jerry Lee Lewis , Chris Ligon and The Problems , Figures of Light , and others. I'm guesstimating on the dates.
Great list...thanks!

As far as garage and psych are concerned:
Dead Skeletons - dead magick
Shapes Have Fangs - dinner in the dark
Black Keys - el camino
Cosmonauts - new psychic denim
Wooden Shjips - west
Liquid Sound Company - acid music for acid people
the Cosmic Dead - psychonaut
Dirty Beaches - badlands
Singapore Sling -never forever
Lumerians - transmalinnia
Screen Vinyl Image - strange behavior
Night Beats/UFO Club - split
Night Beats - lp
I'm including psych stuff that very post punk/goth/shoegaze influenced in this list. Lots of long songs that are heavy on electronic sounds - may or may not be to your liking : P.
I have to admit- Im sort of stuck in a musical past as well! But there is this one band, Shannon and the Clams, that caught my attention. The singer used to be (or still is?) a member of Hunx and his Punxs-- Also a fun band by the way-- but has her own thing now. Sleep Talk is the name of an album they released this year.
Also Leaches of Lore and Tenderizor are two bands that I've discovered this year. They come out of New Mexico and are just fucking great.
Thanks SMF!

THEE DIRTYBEATS EP
This is a free download from Garagepunk.com members THEE DIRTYBEATS.
Listen to it...
Jacuzzi Boys- Glazin
Black Lips- Arabia Mountain
Mark Sultan- both the Whenever & the Wherever lp's
The Booze- At Maximum Volume
There are more that I can't think of right now... The Black Lips probably has the most commercial appeal, but it really is a great album.
Nice mix o' stuff, thanks!

Did anyone mention Bass Drum of Death's Gb City on Fat Possum Records?
It is a good garage rocker for sure.

2011 has been a fantastic year for garage/psych/punk fans. Here are some great 2011 albums you don't want to be without:
1) The Peoples Temple - Sons of Stone (HoZac)
2) Indian Wars - Walk Around the Park (Bachelor)
3) UV Race - Homo (In the Red)
4) Night Beats - S/T (Trouble in Mind)
5) Ty Segall - Goodbye Bread (Drag City)
6) Apache Dropout - S/T (Family Vineyard)
7) Mikal Cronin - S/T (Trouble in Mind)
8) Woods - Sun and Shade (Woodsist)
9) K-Holes - S/T (HoZac)

11) Shannon and the Clams - Sleep Talk (1-2-3-4 Go!)
12) Bad Sports - Kings of the Weekend (Dirtnap)
13) Acid Baby Jesus - S/T (Slovenly)
14) Mickey - Rock n Roll Dreamer (HoZac)
15) Thee Oh Sees - Carrion Crawler/The Dream (In the Red)
a few
the heat tapes raccoon valley recordings
The Slow Death Born Ugly Got Worse
Stratosonics Sonic Boom Boogie
The Monsters Pop Up Yours
Left Lane Cruisers Junkyard Speedball
plus more
The Dyes' first CD , That's probably from 2010 , but it was such a lousy year for new releases , we'll make it two .... The Stones 2 CD "sOME gIRLS " reissue set , Alarm Clocks -Live , Stooges -Raw Power Live (Does'nt even touch on what they're now capable of , but , nice to have. ) , "Destroy That Boy " (COMP.) , DAVE BERRY 2 cd retrosopective , Rationals (Same), Ray Charles Live (re -issue , bonus cuts.), Jerry Lee Lewis "Mean Old Man" , Fever Tree Live , Human Beinz - Live in Japan , Stones - Exile re-ish. Kind of a gyp , widely bootlegged tracks , with new vocals , hyped as "Lost outtakes" , but , fuck me , they still sound good. DON WAS HAS MADE THE STONES RELEVANT AGAIN. I mean , in THIS day and age.
Glazin' by Jacuzzi Boys is pretty awesome, as well as the last Bad Sports LP. I also dig At Maximum Volume by the booze, a lot!
My picks:
Jack Oblivian - Rat City (Big Legal Mess)
Black Lips - Arabia Mountain (Vice)
Redondo Beat - Meet Redondo Beat (Dionysus)
Singing Loins - Stuff (Damaged Goods)
The Excitements - S/T (Penniman)
Here's a few:
Sonny Vincent - Semper Fidelis 30 years anthology 1972-2002 (Rocking Bones)
Tongan Death Grip - Chula Vista (P-Trash)
Dead German -Vicious Repent (Dead Beat Records)
Listening to 'You're Really Something' not too shabby...

I haven't heard of almost any of these but from the couple I've just checked out they almost all seem rad.
I put out a record in 2011 called "Live Fast Die Poor" it's punk rock but it ranges in influence from 60s pop/Motown to 77 Punk rock. Not like "Rah Rah" punk. I'll post up some more songs on my profile eventually, I've been meaning to, but it's been a busy month!
The Love Me Nots "the demon and the devotee" gets my vote though. It's phenomenal.
