UntitledHey.
I just recently moved to Cedar Rapids,Ia from Georgia and I was wondering where
some good record stores, recording studios, gigs and other things are at in the area.
My girlfriend lives in Chicago, so I'm over there a lot too and I've been to a few cool record stores but no shows and I've yet to find any local recording studios.
Any help would be appreciated.

UntitledI have a live music venue and a record store in Chicago. It's called Reggies Rock Club and our record store is called Record Breakers. The record store has been around over 20 years! The venue is newer. We're only 4. We have lots of great shows though! A lot of variety. I'd be happy to help out with any suggestions when you're in Chicago or maybe we can get together some time! I'm always down to make new friends.

And I've been to Reckless records, I actually bought Shattered by The Exploding Hearts there the first time I ever went to Chicago. It was pretty great.
I'll be sure to check the record stores in Evanston out.

UntitledCheck out the Brauerhouse in Lombard. Awesome garage-y joint with kick ass bands and beer and food.
