Did any of us mention The Leather Boy (Not the 80's group.). Badass Biker/Garage Punk'n'ROLL , BEST KNOWN FOR "On The Go" (On Wavy Gravy , Strange Things , others.), and the worthy contenders Soulin'and I'm a Leather Boy. I just found an LP , NOT KNOWING THERE WAS EVEN AN LP's worth of material , under his real name , Milan (Forgot his last name , he was Eastern European , tho'). He recorded several singles as The Leather Boy , Milan and others , as well as writing and producing some great sides for othe racts (The only well known one on this comp is Lou Christie.). He even started out with a Xmas Twist record. But , his Biker and Garage Rock sides , which comprise most of the album (Entitled "Hell Bent For Leather" - Between THAT AND THE Hip Hop- looking artwork , it's a wonder I even picked it up to figure out what it was.....I was always a fan of The Leather Boy STUFF , BUT , i DID'NT KNOW MILAN WAS SO PROLIFIC , Like a more Garage Punk Kim Fowley.....
MIND TRANSFERRAL by the Arrows blows my MYNDE:):)
Check out Kickstarter "One Stop Shop" or S/T.
Simon Stokes' last few albums are great too. His last one Simon Stokes & The Heathen Angels is fantastic though my favorite still is Honky, which came out about 10 years ago.

This band, the Angry Breed, are here on the Hideout, and they're into the biker image as well: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DefUUrerCc0
Yeah, we're going for a biker image although we're not into "real" biker culture. Our thing are the movies and soundtracks of the biker exploitation film genre, mainly during the years 1966-68, although everything we do are our own originals. We're currently working on two songs for a split 45 EP with Italian fuzz masters The Hangee V (due to be released early next year) that will come loaded with... yes, you guessed it - FUZZ!
Check out this video of the song "Sickle Girl" from the upcoming EP to get an idea of what I was talking about. The record should be out this summer.

"Loser! We'll NEVER get this place fixed up !" "SO WHAT ?!".

John Battles said:Also by the bad , bad Crestones , "The Chopper" . Probably one of the first Rock'n'Roll songs to refer directly to choppers."So if you're cruisin' around , lookin' for a go , come around the South Side of Chicago. I'll show you what I mean when my chopper starts to scream !".

Kyla mentioned our band, but I will put in a two bit chirp as well. We are motorcycle themed rock and roll. You can hear it on the bandcamp www.theviciouscycles.bandcamp.com
All motorcycles all the time.

Here's a shot from yesterday's Violent SHifters show at Bike/Scooter shop in St. Paul, MN! Even though there weren't many bikes on the road with the snow and cold, we were hotter than hell inside with bikes and scoots all around!
My band The Violent SHifters are all gearheads/bikers with songs about cars, bikes, semi trucks, steam trains, killing, fighting and fucking!
Here is an interview that features our song "Hot Rod Killing Machine" We are working on a Garage Punk page and are on Facebook and Reverb Nation for now!
