Just joined, so I don't really see too much to complain about. I like the connectivity, and the fact that it's specialized (try finding music fans on Diaspora, etc.). I would like to see a sidebar on our accounts letting us link to our fave sites, etc. Kinda lets visitors get a sense of you as well.
haha , i know and i clicked ! Christmas spirit !

The girls!
I'll try to be more inventive then just say podcast to the most favorite thing: I'll go deeper and say "for opening the door to music I would have never heard otherwise".
My least favorite thing; when I get overwhelmed and don't listen to all the podcasts and feel like I am missing out on something big.
I believe the group with the most members (or top 3) here on the Hideout is European in yer pants! This site is not specifically just for North America even though the official language is English. Check the map on the main page for some reference.

... My favourite thing is however, the amount of people that post on here that are NOT from North America. I live in Atlantic Canada, and more specifically a fairly culture-less part of the east coast. So to read the thoughts and opinions of people that are based so far away is awlays of interest to me.
yay! Checking it out now!!!!

You're right Primitiva, you can never have enough soul.
You inspired me to re-post my little obit on the late Howard Tate in here:

I love the Podcasts... The Forums.... I have a lot of shit.. met really cool bands and Radio hosts... obviously no complaints... if that is ass kissing then I am a ass kisser
Favorite? Networking with awesome bands that are on the same page as you, awesome podcasts to have in the background while you do random work, and the people are funny sometimes
Least favorite is the fact that the group for Canucks is extremely slow. I'd love to see a super bustling Canadian group. I'd get some buddies on there, but my friends for the most part are top 40 fans.

Agree with this dude. But i guess I can only really blame myself for lack of content since I myself don't contribute enough to the groups as I would like too. Favorite obviously the PODCASTs, what attracted me to the original garagepunk forums and old podcast site. Everything else if pretty sweet too, the music(and the discover of new music), the people, the videos, etc.

Least favorite thing: All the action seems focused in the main forum and not enough going on in the groups.
If you're not in favor of airing your grievances publicly you can always just DM me.

My favourite thing is actually not the podcasts, I rarely listen to them. I am always impressed when I do, but it's always a question of time with me, and I just don't have the free time nowadays... I do have a least favourite thing about this place, but as it is a free service and the good greatly out weighs the bad ( more of a slight greivence really ) I feel it would be looking a gift horse in the mouth to complain.
Blah blah blah,

Love the photo slideshow and of course the DRAMA!!!! tee hee!! the discussions have been great and the podcasts..what don't I like my lack of skill to post my songs on the comp link and my lack of ability to download podcasts on to my phone which is an mp3 player!!!
my (craig) favorite thing about this website is all the amazing art the users share. garagepunk is a fine collection of talented people.
