Five months on Japan is still recovering from the devastation caused by the Great East Japan Earthquake that struck on March 11, 2011. I put together this benefit comp called HEAL THE COAST: A Homespun Tsunami Benefit featuring a variety Japanese punk running the gamut from garage to Irish, ska and and some psychobilly. There's also a few tracks from overseas bands known for touring Japan in the past several years.
HEAL THE COAST was released in early May, but I haven't been promoting it as much as I should. 100% of the proceeds gets donated directly to the Japanese Red Cross Society. There's 23 raucous tracks to help the continued recovery for only $10!!
