Not really a monster I guess, but I always loved Talos in Jason and the Argonauts, or any Harryhausen creation for that matter. But really, nothing beats The Thing.If I remember well, it was the (in)famous giant of Crete...the huge bronze guard of the canal that came to life: it was defeated by the argonauts when they pulled the plug on his heel and all his life sand flowed out!!!:);:).Harryhausen was TOPS:):):)

I was fascinated by this movie when I was younger. Mad Max was another one although not really monsters. I love the post apocalyptic thing and BfPotA combined it with undertones of racism and monster like monkeys. I found the original Planet of the Apes film just too full of mean apes for me to like it as a youngun.
