      the best white blues singer just passed away....i do not know what you guys think about him but when i first listened "diddy wah diddy" my brain just blown away!

      I'm not as adventurous as many Captain Beefheart fans but Safe As Milk and the early A & M recordings really impressed me. "Electricity", though, is probably as far as I can go with his stuff.  Still sad that he passed away.

      Captain Beefheart has been a fave of mine since i stumbled across Clear Spot way too many years ago...some of the craziest and wildest guitar and vocals you'll hear anywhere!! I've been hoping all of these years that the Captain would come out of retirement for one last shot of magic....

      Brilliant guy.....a sad loss........Safe as MIlk is also my favourite......we used to jam Diddy Wah Diddy....a great song....
