  On our way to Gonerfest we thought we would play shows in the home of the blues and chuckus.
  
  Anyone got any suggestions of which venues we should try to play?

  Don't play Cicero's. Jam band/crap modern alt-rock central. Have you tried Off Broadway? That's my first choice. After that, The Wedge, Crack Fox, the Fox Hole (Atomic Cowboy), the Library (in Soulard), and if worse comes to worse (but ONLY if worse comes to worse), Lemmons or the Way Out Club. dick scum said:
