does anybody knowany good tunes with like a spacey feel.... like when you listen to it you feel like you are in another galaxy or another dimension? touching the stars, you see an offshore space coloney making a space city, so you get like a blade runner feel or a sci fi video game feel, like FREELANCER if anybody has ever played that,, anyway i want to feel like im out there floating when i listen.

I've seen SUNRA a couple times, i'm still up there! NATIONAL HARVESTER, a pre Pink Floyd Hawkwind group from Sweden, more glue than anything, but some really strange, U can see the connections, I think that Matching Mole's Caroline is a nice and tasty nugget, paints yer room a different colour anyway! Gong the 3rd lp in trilogy 'YOU' is nice, and quite flowing, OM playing conference of the birds is super killer.. AS Terry Riley church of Anthrax.. Brian Eno?

      Go get some!

all those great Les Baxter space albums!

Helios Creed + CHROME- space acid brain wreckage. Helios even played guitar in sort of a ragtag HAWKWIND reunion in the 90's.

Hallogallo by Neu! is a good one. As is Fohat Digs Holes in Space by the much-disliked Gong.

I think Spacemen 3 were best but Spirtualized were pretty decent as well.

You musta missed this on page 1: Reply by Monty Boyce on April 23, 2010 at 4:43pm This might be the wrong forum to post this on, but it sounds to me like you need some Hawkwind in your life. 'Warrior on the Edge of Time' is a fabulous LP, as are 'In Search of Space', 'Doremi Fasol Latido' and 'Space Ritual'. Fuck it, John Rotten was/is a huge Hawkwind fan so they appealed to at least one 'punk'... Richard Chamberland said:
why the hell nobody sadid Hawkwind yet?
It's the best space rock groupe ever. It's like... trippier than lots of psychedelic rock bands and still rocks really hard. The best is the albums with Lemmy on them and Levitation. This is the kind of music that gets you high with nothing and getsyou higher when you're already.

..Or contemporary stuff like Black Angels,Dead Meadow,Warlocks?
Or the Primal Scream album 'Evil Heat'.
They seem to owe much to My bloody valentine's amniotic sound.
