      so, obviously, seattle is sinking into the ocean with all these horrible club nights and i wanna do something about it. i wanna start a monthly garage night in seattle. can anyone here point me in th right direction of a bar that would be down to house this or possibly one already going on that i could latch on to? any places you'd like to see a night like this in? 

      and, to be honest, i wanna make sure people are gonna be into it, so if i see a good response here, then its on for sure.

      Is there a way to play it if we just brought a USB stick or a laptop?  I don't have a fancy music robot.  I'll keep my eyes peeled for Pizza Fest, but I'm stoked to see The Razorblades on 7/29!

      hey, if people wanna set up a once a month thing where people bring in pre-loaded ipods on mondays before a show we can do a garage listening thing really easy.
      we have an ipod plug in through our jukebox.
      to run DJ gear i'd have to pay one of my sound guys to run the PA so i don't wanna do that.
      but yeah, i'd be down with a monday 7-9 kinda thing.

      and FYI - Pizzafest 2010 is scheduled for early aug, we have a buncha garagey bands playing again this year.

      Cool! We could pick out podcasts to play or spin records.  Go from about 7 to 9, that way it doesn't overlap the gigs. Maybe the first monday of the month, to go with the dollar beers thing.  Of course, I could be jumping the gun, though; I'm just assuming that you want it at the Funhouse ;)

      I've thought about doing this in St. Louis but there just aren't enough good bands around here to make it interesting month after month. I mean, it'd be stupid to have the same three or four bands play every month. Are there enough good bands in Seattle to do it? You can try to book bands from out of town on those nights, too, but that can also be pretty challenging (coordinating the bands' tour schedules with the date). Just something to keep in mind.
