      hello,

a couple years ago, maybe, heard on a GaragePunk Podcast show a cover of VU's "Guess I'm Falling In Love"... I can't find it anywhere now. Anyone have a clue about that cover? It was a version with lyrics.

      thanks in advance...

Here is an unheard version of a band I played in called The Get Lost (featuring Gerry Mohr of The Miracle Workers) doing our take of "Guess I'm Falling In Love "

"Guess I'm Falling In Love " is the B-side with "Get home girl" on the A-side. I think you can get it through Norton, as I think I saw this single for sale at the A-Bones merchandising table last year. I saw it also on the Crypt mailorder not long ago. Sometimes it comes out on eBay. If you want the easy way, get the A-Bones Cd compilation "Daddy wants a cold beer". "Guess I'm falling in love" is there, but not the A-side, which appears on the "Music minus five" album. Esgar acelerado said:

A great version was also released by my old faves the A-Bones on a 7" (Bedrock, 1993), that was "recorded on cassette at rehearsal". No vocals, though.

Sorry, just realized I never responded to this one. It's on the Danger! LP that came out in '96 on Dionysus Records. It's probably out of print, but Dionysus might still have it in stock. Lee is a member here, too, so you can check with him or the Dionysus page here. Good luck. http://www.dionysusrecords.com/shop/index.php?_a=viewProd&productId=161 By the way, the Diaboliks' LP Three Fur Burgers & a Chili Dog to Go! is also great.

The Diaboliks do a great version of that song... could that be it? Do you remember if it was female vocals?
