      I've just moved into my new place in London, and I've just started a garage band, but is there a 'The ...' band name that hasn't been used before ever! Come on help me out!

      Yeah, there was some danish funk rock band called the Cockpits, but the band I was in didn't care because we wanted to be called the Cockpits too.

      how about the white shites or the small faeces, these were names suggested to me a few years back.
      dont worry if its already taken unless its another good garage band doing good rock'n'roll, if its a crappy pop band or indie band then steal it and reclaim rock'n'roll!

      Google is your friend in such things! Just google "the insects" band and you have the answer - it is/was already in use. In times of internet I'm always confused how bands can form with names that are already in use. Could think they don't do any research ...
