I'm looking for musicians of questionable ability for a weekly casual jam session.

I've been "playing" electric guitar for 3 years and taking lessons for over 2. I'd rate my skill as intermediate....but sloppy. I wouldn't say I have any influences, but I dig blues, rockabilly, surf, punk, etc. I "know" about 30 songs: "Long Cool Woman", "Rock 'n' Roll Hoochie Koo", "Bohemian Like You", etc. I've recently started writing my own crappy songs too.

Goals:

1. Play music
2. Have fun
3. Improve ability
4. Friends

BTW, I'm 47 (It's the new 46!) so, please don't answer unless your at least 21 and less than dead.

I am moving out to LA next week and will be downtown. I don't know how accesable long beach is from la (no car) but I am looking for a guitar player for my band the mean mean men amongst other things. Check us out on here and also www.myspace.com/themeanmeanmen

HI,maybe we're too far to join a jam,but recently I bought "Boss Loop Station" that it won't
be my best friend of course,but I found it ideal to practice and improved.You can record
your own rhythm and play on it,'till 8 overdubs and got a drum clock too.
