Volume 2 is good as well, though I prefer vol. 1.

Another great comp from the same label:

So what's the word on volume 2? Is it a blind buy too?

Bought mine yesterday. It's awesome. The A-Cads, The Invaders are both awesome. Also, lots of cool surf tunes.

Weird discussion just bought a copy of Cazumbi last week in Borderline records in Brighton England (obviously no use to a great many of you but you never know who's reading this shit!) Given it 3 or 4 plays gotta like the Conjunto De Oliveira Muge cover of the 'I had too much to dream last night" There are some duff tracks though! IDON MINE said:

i just read there's supposed to be a comp coming out at the end of the month featuring "iranian Psych bands ". The comp is called "rak rak rak"
      this comes from bigO magazine-
      PERSIA RAKS!
"17 golden garage psych nuggets from the Iranian '60s scene, Various Artists - 'Raks! Raks! Raks! Persia's 60s' (Vinyl LP). In 1964, the legendary Top4 company opened up and started releasing choice chart hits from the worldwide lists, on 4-track EPs, followed soon by MonoGram and other companies. These mixed up records featured a lot of popular songs of the day." Released March 30.

Proper name is Cazumbi as read on the back and side, but the front is indeed a bit confusing.

I got mine from Soundflat. I believe they still got em in stock: Cazumbi
Great comp! Nice but short linernotes, which make you wanna google for more. Really unexpected from such unusual places but then again, isn't that what's music's all about?

The LP is limited to only 700 copies so better hurry (don't know why those things always need to be ltd but let's save that for another discussion)
