it's the beat, the beat, the beat ... the Big Beat of The Woggles!   This coming Friday (June 7th) is gonna be a helluvah good time!  The Demerits kick things off w/ a raucous dose of garage-slop that's sure to make you smile ... followed by the psychadelic stew that is Krol Kleks ... and then it's time to get up get down and shake yer ass to The Woggles.

The Woggles always kill it. I first saw them in Tuscaloosa , Alabama in '93 or '94. I've always caught them in Chicago (They usually sleep on my floor......But , I  put the shotgun away so they could get up and  go to the bathroom) until the other night....I spoke to Patrick , the Bass player, before they got to town , though. They had'nt played here in a long time . About eight years? How did itgo? (Please , have an interpreter transcribe the ROBBLE , ROBBLE, thanks.)

I caught the St Louis show.  I hadn't seen them in a decade.  They played to about 12 people but rocked like it was 1200.  They're one of the best live bands I've seen.  I'd compare them to the Fleshtones in that regard (who are playing StL next month). 

Can't make it : (     , playing the Norton Benefit , but , come on by if it's not too late , to the Bottom Lounge , afterward . HAVE'NT MISSED THE WOGGLES SINCE.....WHEN DID THEY FIRST PLAY CHICAGO? WELL OVER 15 YEARS AGO. But ,have a great show. John.
