  Hope to see lots of you garage punkers in Valencia, SPAIN for the big Untamed Youth and Mummies reunions! Haven't seen it posted yet, so for those who are curious, the Youth line-up will be Deke Dickerson, Steve "King of Men" Mace, Steve "Sammy" Rager and Joel "JET" Trueblood. First time JET has played with the Youth since Las Vegas Grind '99!!
  If you've never seen the Mummies, you really need to check them out! It was truly a blast doing shows with them out in CA way back when! Trust me, there's nothing like them!! This fest will truly be HUGE!!

  The fact that The Untamed Youth are playing this same weekend is something that is truly special... damn it! Why do airplane tickets have to be $1000 to go from LA to Spain.... I hate all of you that will be going!!

  Well, it probably could, but these things take a lot of money to pull off. The Cavestomp folks had to give the Sonics a huge amount to come out of retirement, and I know that it wasn't cheap for the Mummies & Untamed Youth, either. But Europe is a better "market" for garage. It's riskier in the States, so it doesn't surprise me at all that this is happening in Europe (especially Spain... they go absolutely nuts over this stuff). Now, that doesn't mean the Mummies won't be playing any Stateside shows, but money is the reality. If you can scrape enough together, I'm sure you can get them to play on your roof if you want (party at Will's house!).
