UntitledIt's very sad....Gary was a great person. He really appreciated the sudden interest in the band - But , it was'nt sudden at all , as a low-key movement was happening in the 80's and 90's , via 10TH generation "Beat ! Beat! Beat!" videos exchanging hands in the tape trade , bootlegs of "black monk time" reportedly dating as far back as the Late 70's , and Wendy Wild and Deb O'Nair's all - female monks ' tribute band , Das Furlines. Also "Complication" appeaed on the fine Garage /Psych "Turds on a Bum Ride" , before the first high profile unauthorized CD version of the monks' album on Repertoirre in Germany.
