My band The Psyatics will be going into the studio this winter, and plan on pressing LPs as well as CDs. Can I get some guidance on good experiences with pressing plants that will do short runs (200-300)? Best, Rob

thanks for the options. I'll be checking them out. best-
We just pressed our first LP on DMS in the UK, and I can totally recommend them.. they did a great job and they're chep, fast and very thorough.
Thanks for the words...I'll check out Pirates Press and Rainbow!
I used to press with United out of Nashville. I haven't done a record in several years, so I don't know what's going on with the pressing plants these days. When I did use them, they were great. It's probably worth your time to check them out. I believe one of my good friends uses Rainbow records now. I haven't heard of any problems as of yet. Rainbow is probably the closest to you, they are in Cali. I've heard multiple horror stories concerning Alpha vinyl in Florida. Seems you'd be best to steer clear of that one.
If you guys have the budget, I would do 500 press instead of 300. With the cost of pressing, sleeves and so on, it's hardly worth the time to do anything smaller.
We're based in Las Vegas, NV. US

Whereabouts are you? We used Breed media (U.K.), but I think that they subcontracted the actual pressing to GZ (in Czech Republic).
