I just picked up the Excelsior, made by Fender.  Sounds real nice, an all-tube amp for $300, surprising loud for 13 watts, and it looks cool too!

I, too, have had my eye on that amp. It looks super cool for being a Fender (and under $300).

I am gonna keep my eye out for one in a few years when they start popping up used on Craigslist.

the tremolo is a little slight, good for single note runs but it kind of washes out if you do a bo diddley-type rhythm.

What's the tremolo like on it?
