hey, I'm planning a trip to Valdivia, Chile. i was just wondering where i should start to find some rock n roll there. any help is greatly appreciated.

Yeah, there really ain't much action here in Valdivia. I'd be willing to travel up to Concepción, but I am having a hard time finding info on the internet...I have tried to find clubs and bands, but with very little luck. Most everything I find is for Santiago, claro. It would be rad if you could maybe point me in the right (or any!) direction. I will be moving up to Valpo in the winter (July), and I know I'll have an easier time finding kicks there, but I am hurtin' now!

Well, I can't remember much rock and roll action in Valdivia, but of course the last time I was there was 20 years ago. I'd say Concepción is a much safer bet. Many important bands in Chile come from that city.
