Hate Crime: Goths, Punks And Emos Recognised

The mother of a girl beaten to death for being a goth successfully campaigns for subcultures to be protected by hate crime laws.

Yeh, the pace is too slow for me, but there are steps going forwards. If only we also weren't going backwards in some places...
