It's not by The Boss , and it sure is'nt by Bon Jovi. It's by Donny B. Waugh , who recorded "You Better Believe It" b/w a savage take on Eddie Cochran's call to arms , "C'mon , Everybody" in 1969 , released in '70 on United Artists. An album , apparently , was planned but , this was Waugh's one shot at immortality , and immortal it is. Probably the only Garage/Rockabilly single released in '70.

Bill's current band is called Four Blue Teardrops. He was doing Surf , Ventures and Link Wray here in Chicago , years before "Pulp Fiction" , when you could'nt GIVE this stuff away. Check him out , if you have a chance.

One of the books collecting too much dust on my nightstand is Surd Beat by Kent Crowley- ever read it? Looks like a good book, but I'm judging by the cover. I'll be cracking the spine on that book..... anyday now! :D Thanks so much for the welcome! Truly appreciated. :)

They never technically broke up , but , as they're spread out between Minnesota , New York and Chicago , they only get together to play , write and record sporadically , at best. They did three reunion shows in the 90's. They have two CDs that should be pretty easy to find online. Bill also briefly played with Crow ( "Evil Woman Don't Play Your Games With Me") and even twice with Bill Haley and The Comets.

It was close , but , that time , I have to say The Trashmen were a close second.

They were planning to make this reunion an ongoing thing , but , Keyboard Player , Gary Omerza , died , suddenly. The live footage is very good , and you get brownie points if you find the Novas doing "The Crusher", live , along the way.

My Cousin Vinny. Kidding. Not really. Yes really. You and I will never know the truth on this.
I highly enjoy documentaries. Music especially. I loved We Jam Econo, if it ain't STIFF RECORDS, Monks: The Transatlantic Feedback, etc.
Other Hobbies/Interests
Law and order SVU, trying my best not to be "rude" or "blunt" in the Midwest- which is impossible because that's just ingrained in me from birth. Reading, again- mostly books about bands and musicians.
