I have always enjoyed watching bands that dress up. There are some people that will say that Punk is an attitude and it doesnt matter what you look like. I think thats just laziness. We are in the entertainment business!

What's your style, Mod suits or t-shirts and jeans, Cavemen or Spacemen.

Bands who look great get my vote everytime. Who are the best dressed and the worst dressed bands? Do you even give a shit?

I think it's totally important to have some sort of cohesiveness in a visual band "style". Part of being in a band is presentation of your group, on a stage, to the throngs and hoards. Even if that throng and hord is the bartender, your sister and her three friends. It's always a good idea to look like you belong together. It adds to the excitement of a live show.

We wore our suits when we recorded. We wore matching custom tee shirts when we drove across the country and everybody stared at us when we stopped at "picture spots".

I love bands with themes and outfits. It shows they put a bit more thought and effort out there for the fans.

We're a conglomerate, but for our shows we kind of wear something on a theme. I kinda dress like Mike Ness from the early 90s, but the rest just sort of wear street clothes.

We think outfits add to the excitement of live rock-n-roll.  We recently saw a band we like and were very disappointed that they put absolutely no effort into their stage presence.  They looked like they just got off the sofa after sitting in front of the TV all night. Musically, they were great but we'll think twice before shelling out cash to see them again.

I was at that taping with Hunx and His Punx. I might have been sitting in the audience when they went on. It's very tiring getting to the studio on the CTA , sometimes....

The Rock'n'Roll Hall of Fame won't take Paul Revere and The Raiders seriously , just because of their stage wear. GOD , WHO CARES ?! If WE are to take the Hall seriously , then The Raiders should have been in it before the 90's reared their ugly head.

The Outsiders , Hell , yeah. They had a Garage band in the TV show (Fox , early 90's , me and 3 or 4 people in Utah and Rhode Island watched it.) based on the movie and book. They kicked the Soc's ass , again . This time , by playing "Devil With a Blue Dress On". Stay Gold. We're doin' this one for Johny.

These last two pictures (No Tomorrow Boys and Suicide Notes (first off, how ironic is that?)) make me feel like there's a great episode of Happy Days (from the early days) that never did get to air.

Aww hell you need t make a show or you may as well sit at home with a CD. Personally I favour stockings and suspenders while the rest of the band gets waxed/rubbered/pvc'd up. I got a few sweat drenched fur coats too...

A friend once said about dressing to go on stage something like "you shouldn't look like you could be just someone in the audience."  You're putting on a show.  Nothing wrong with flashing it up a bit or making a little effort to look good, unless you're playing "grunge" or some sort of punk I guess.  But for anything with a 60's garage vibe, surf, rockabilly, etc. sneakers, t-shirts, and jeans don't cut it in my book...
