The Pebble's records never fail, Cherrystones is also good.

Here are a couple newer bands that really take the lo-fi thing to new lows:
Black Time, Times New Viking
Other than that, has anyone mentioned the Mummies, Oblivians, Reatards, The Lamps?
The list goes on...
In The Red Records has several of these types of bands on their catalog.
I'm cutting this to vinyl tonite. Thought it was the perfect share for the hideout.

I also recommend The Coconut Coolouts on Dirtnap records for this kind of sound.
Here is also a cool radio show I like. Shake the Shack.
Excellent call with Atomic Suplax. We played with them in London last year and it was a spectacle to remember. Not heard the new record yet, but will rectify that right now. Manchester's The Black Knights specialised in pure trash garage sleeze a while back. They've since morphed into The Calimocho Club. More muscular, less sleeze, but still great trash.
Here you go! Los Mojos from Samara, Russia. This record was made couple months ago.
leighton koizumi just posted this Gravedigger V vid on the GPH -- it's blang blang blang fun. The vid isn't great quality-wised, but it def. captured the spirit of the moment.
Oh yeah! Didn't know that Ravens thing was reissued! Thanks as well for the background info on Deja Voodoo everyone - I've heard both bands briefly, so all that is pretty darn cool.
Here for the stir
Yeah, Thee Tee Pees are awesome!
Also check out The Ka-Nives.

Bassholes. Extremely bluesy, but a two-piece with a very, very firm grip of the punk rock stick.
Here is the vid for the Ravens 45.

BUT , NORTON'S MORE RECENT SERIES ON UNRELEASED GARAGE PUNK ACETATES COMES HIGHLY RECOMMENDED , AS DOES THE NEW RE-ISSUE OF THE IMPOSSIBLY RARE 45 BY THE SUBURBAN CHICAGO BAND , THE RAVENS , WITH JOHN BELUSHI ON DRUMS .
IT'S PRETTY FUCKIN' SWEET. IF YOU LIKE "BACK FROM THE GRAVE" , YOU'RE ALREADY A FAN OF BOTH !
Gerard van Herk, guitarist/vocalist/songwriter for Deja Voodoo still does the occasional show. John, you obviously know about the one in Toronto with Bloodshot Bill as drummer. It was supposed to be an OG Records reunion of sorts, OG was the record label formed by Deja Voodoo. There's some poor quality video of this show on youtube.
We had Gerard here in London Ontario this past summer and we got him up and playing for about 15m with a mystery drummer. It was totally amazing to see Gerard playing songs that we hadn't seen him do in over 20 years!! A lot of the younger folks who missed Deja Voodoo first time around became instant fans and finally got to see the legend! Below is a pic of Gerard in action at this show.
Gerard is currently in Newfoundland and sometimes does gigs with his son on drums.
Not even 10 CANADIAN Dollars , man.....Their first album is the one to get , if you can find it - "If mashed potatoes were security guards , we would'nt get anything done.....whoa who oh oh. Mashed potato !"....And if you wanna revel in sheer stoopidiocy like this , migh tI suggest Snake - Out/Fuknotz (More or less the same band.) and Jon Wayne's "Texas Funeral" LP . There was a Deja Voodoo reunion a few years ago , but , the Drummer did'nt play , so , Bloodshot Bill played in his place , better still

Haha I love this thanks man. Sounds like they're using 10 dollar guitars!

Still digging the new Atomic Suplex LP on Crypt. This is from a different release.
If you like deja voodoo, you'll probably dig my current band as well, I drew a lot of inspiration from them, as well as other raunchy two-piece sounding stuff.. I recently uploaded a live video on the videos thread, check it out - it's called "New Kind Of Mambo"

Deja Voodoo were amongst the very first of the 2 piece combos...starting about 1982 and lasting 8 years...Drum kit with no cymbals, 10 dollar guitar (like you mentioned) and a cheap amp. They would travel by Edsel in the early days (until the Edsel broke down) and then via bus and train with all of their equipment tightly packed as carry on luggage.
Here's a link to their facebook page that has lots of pictures/posters and a few of the Edsel that i took many years ago:

Deja Voodoo were also the people behind OG Records, the label responsible for releasing The Gruesomes records as well as many other cool recs.

Damn thank you guys so much!
yeah, the morlocks! also the gravedigger V....beat-man....the monsters....the coyote men....the makers (early)....shutdown 66....the gruesomes....5.6.7.8's....thee headcoats....the raunch hands
Try the Washouts on Golly Gee Records.
The Magnetix
The Mummies, The Spaceshits, Les Sexareenos, The Morlocks, Thee Milkshakes, The Mortals, The Kitchen Cinq, The Spits, most of the 60s comps. If I think of any more, I'll add them later.
Tunnel of Love on Black Gladiator Records is pretty damn good and pretty damn gnarly. Recorded on a way-too-far-in-the-red cassette 4-track.
Have you tried compilations like Highs in the Mid-Sixties, the Big Itch (more wacky/instro, but still essential), Back From the Grave, I was a Teenage Caveman?
Get Hip or Dionysus have online catalogs, as does Crypt. John Battles will have plenty o' info for ya, as well.
