TV - Twilight Zone , Outer Limits , and .... I don't know. I liked X-Files , but not enough to tell my friends to call me when it was over. I even liked Sliders , but , did'nt watch it religiously. The two Invisible Man programs , Lost in Space , for laughs , Thunderbirds.
Movies - Le Voyage De La Lune (A Trip To The Moon , silent , Georges Melies. First acknowledged Science Fiction film.) , Day The Earth Stood Still, Creature With The Atom Brain , Forbidden Planet , X - The Man With X-Ray Eyes , The Colossus of New York , This Island Earth , Invasion of The Bodysnatchers , Metropolis , Barbarella , Atragon , The Mysterians , Plan 9 From Outer Space , The Blob , Queen of Blood ,
Assignment : Terror , Aliens Done Took My Cow (In pre - production.).
For starters;
Movies:
Mad Max 1 & 2
The Day the Earth Caught Fire 1961
Village of the Damned 1960
The Earth Dies Screaming 1964
The Last Man on Earth 1964
TV:
Star Trek - the original series
Sapphire and Steel
UFO
Day of the Triffid 1981 BBC series
"The Contenders - Series 7", it uses a "fake documentary" style to tell the story in a pretty unusual way, worth seeing if you never have..
That's real unusual...cool :)
"The Thing (from another world)", the original not the Carpenter remake, is one of my all time favourites and the original "Solaris" (the Russian one) is good (if very influenced by "2001").
also, if you ever get the chance, try a film called "The Contenders - Series 7", it uses a "fake documentary" style to tell the story in a pretty unusual way, worth seeing if you never have..
DON'T RUN AWAY NOW MINA.......................more menacing mosters from the OL here...:):):)
THis is one of the most underrated but MENACING scenes in sci fi ever:):):)
ENJOY MINA :):):)
