The lead singer who plays lead guitar is not a valid answer.  In that case, it's obvious: the drummer.

Answers from personal experience get double points.  Responses relating to your own current or previous bands get triple points.

And don't use terms like prima donna, diva, or bitch.  Misogyny is no longer in.

I am very PA but you know I was not referring to you.  You are a terrific leader.  I'll never forget what you said before we went on stage at Chicago.  It pulled everyone together as a unit, giving us confidence and we subsequently played a great set to start off an equally great tour.  I'm honored to have been a part of it.

This is why I'm a solo act , or , if you wanna generalize , a "One - Man Band". Mine is the only ego I need to worry about , and it does'nt get much strokin' in this here town.

I must have worked with an easier-to-deal-with class of singers.  I always found I could get them to stop the egotistical rants by simple rattling my car keys at them.  No wait, those were drummers.  Sorry.  I've worked with a few dictatorially-minded singers, but my theory was always that it was their asses out there on the front line, that they were the ones who were gonna take the brunt of the hate if we sucked up there, so they had the right to voice opinions a little louder than the rest of the band, maybe.  A little.  But I've definitely known the Naziesque lead guitarists, too.  Their deal always seemed to be nothing more than their own mistaken notion that they were geniuses and that the rest of us should genuflect in their presence.

singers, no doubt about it. unless you are talking bout a shredder guitarist, the kind that multiplied like fungus in the 80s, who needs a spotlight and a fan next to the monitor to blow up his hair when he gets into his doodly-do's.

and even more personal than that, cuz of myself. To say that my performance as a singer for The Terrorists is egotistical is to underestimate it; it's sickening thats what it is.

The guitar player who used be the lead singer who's written all the songs but doesn't have the sex appeal and knows it but denies It.and spends every practice criticizing everything that I do!
