I'm putting together a playlist of songs about chicks who are nothing but trouble. I have a handful of songs so far - including "She's Trouble" by The Guilty Hearts and "One Hot Kitten" by Graceland Mafia. What are some of your favorite songs about chicks that might show you a good time but will land you in trouble?

I'd say any list of "Bad Gurl" songs needs to include "All Women Are Bad". Ivy said the group was accused of sexism for releasing the , obviously tongue - in - cheek , song , even though SHE wrote it !   I'd say "Like a Bad Girl Should" , but that's almost playful (Esp. if you've seen the video. ).

Maybe I'm being too literal, but what about "All Women Are Bad" by the Cramps?

Also, anything by the Donnas.  Those girls were trouble!  I've always liked "It's on the Rocks."

      We're over, I'm done
Yeah, it's time to have some real fun
So I'm callin' all my ladies
      We're gonna key your Mercedes

      [Chorus]
      Well, you're the kinda guy
Who needs attention around the clock
      Well you can't even talk
'Cause baby, it's on the rocks
      Yeah, it's on the rocks
Well it's me you gotta detox
'Cause baby, it's on the rocks!

Your luvin's like a car crash
You're gone and I got whiplash
      You're a stain I can't get out
I tried bleach and I tried Shout!

I apologize for all the noise
I just had to tell all the boys
That you'd rather have a Mai Tai
Then a tall glass of Bud Dry

      [Chorus]

      It's on the rocks
      (echo)It's on the rocks
      Yeah, it's on the rocks
      (echo)Yeah, it's on the rocks
      It's on the rocks
      (echo)It's on the rocks
      Baby, it's on the rocks

Nice. The Potatoes , a MALE group , covered it , too, around the same time The Cramps released their version. The Potatoes , based in Dallas , were an offshoot of the original Shitty Beatles. Anyone else using the name , now , only does because of the joke in "Wayne's World", released at least 5 years after the Shitty Beatles started. I do know how they came to use it , too.....BFD , I know.

"Get Off The Road", the theme from the Herschell Gordon Lewis film "She Devils On Wheels", is a trash classic about "maneaters on motorbikes". It's been covered by both The Cramps (after the "Girl on a Motorcycle" trailer in the vid below) and The Lunachicks.

Did someone beat me to it? "Black Mona Lisa" by The Retreds (Back From The Grave #7.)

Not only does it have lyrics about a judo-choppin', ass kickin' femme fatale that'd do Tura Satana proud , they even lifted the hubcaps from "Boss" by The Rumblers , a good ten years or more before The Cramps did the same , and came up with "Garbageman".

Dean Carter - "Rebel Woman" . Garage Punk meets Crime Jazz in an atmospheric , tuff as nails rocker about a man longing for a woman in tall black boots , even though it means his DOOM.

Audio Gasoline  , I've considered the matter , and I see your P.O.V.   You were right.

"JUSTINE !!! JUSTINE !!!!  YOU JUST WON'T TREAT ME RIGHT , YOU LIKE TO BALL EVERY MORNING , STAY OUT LATE AT MIGHT!" - It moves from a happy to a frustrated mood , if you listen to the lyrics.   SO , IT'S LIKE "Good Golly Miss Molly" , not just in reference to "Ballin' " (Which is what they used to say before someone came up with the brilliant idea of making "Party " a verb.) , BUT , in that Justine or Miss Molly MIGHT LOVE THEIR OLD MEN , BUT THEY'RE STILL TOO WILD FOR ONE MAN TO HOLD DOWN.

AND , OF COURSE , BEFORE THERE WAS LITTLE RICHARD OR DON AND DEWEY , THERE WAS LOUIS JORDAN -  "YOU KNOW , MY MAMA TOLD ME TO LEAVE CALDONIA ALONE. NO FOOLIN' ! SHE SAID , SON , STAY AWAY FROM THAT GIRL ! SHE'S BAD FOR YOUR MORALE ! BUT , MAMA DID'NT KNOW WHAT CALDONIA WAS PUTTIN' DOWN......SO , I'M GOIN' TO CALDONIA'S HOUSE , KNOCK ON HER DOOR , AND SAY , "CALDONIA!!! CALDONIA !!!! WHAT MAKES YOUR BIG HEAD SO HARD ?!!!!!".

Of course , any version of "Mean Woman Blues" , starting with Jerry Lee , Elvis , Roy Orbison , Charlie Feathers ......But , there's so many of 'em......There's a great bit from the unreleased "Jerry Lee Lewis Show" TV pilot , where they BOTH sing in the third person !!! Yes !!!!

"Whatever Jerry Lee does , he does mighty good!" "Boy , she makes ol' PERKINS  flip...".

Absolutely! Nitroglycerine is great.  Another favorite is the Sharpest Claws by the Dirtbombs.  (Sometimes the sweet kitten has the sharpest claws... no truer words were ever said!)

Here's another one.  I think it was originally done by Frankie Lane but everyone else on earth has done a version, too.

      Jezebel.
      Jezebel.

If ever the devil was born,
      Without a pair of horns
      It was you,
      Jezebel, it was you.

      If ever an angel fell,
      Jezebel,
      It was you.
      Jezebel, it was you.

If ever a pair of eyes,
      Promised paradise.
      Deceiving me, grieving me,
      Leavin' me blue.
      Jezebel, it was you.

      If ever the devil's plan,
      Was made to torment man,
      It was you,
      Jezebel, it was you.

'Twould be better I had I never known,
      A lover such as you.
      Forsaking dreams and all,
For the siren call of your arms.

Like a demon, love possessed me,
      You obsessed me constantly.
      What evil star is mine,
      That my fate's design,
      Should be Jezebel?

If ever a pair of eyes,
      Promised paradise.
      Deceiving me, grieving me,
      Leavin' me blue.
      Jezebel, it was you.

      If ever the devil's plan,
      Was made to torment man,
      It was you,
      Night an' day, every way.
      Oh, Jezebel, Jezebel, Jezebel.

Cool. Thanks. I have a couple blues songs on the playlist already. One of them is "Rich Man's Woman on a Poor Man's Pay" by Kid Ramos.
