I'm going to say Jack White.
If your a band and need to fill out your set, look at learning a Kinks song. So many great ones, I love "Who'll be the next in line".
You're kidding right? They're the greatest!
My favourites are David Watts and Harry Rag.

Guy Hamper Trio 7" - Childish's version of Jazz...
I'm not the biggest Stones fan in the world but I'm gonna have to go with "Beast of Burden." There is something about the way Mick Jagger says "Pretty, pretty girls..."

Just to digress a little I've been told by a member of Derek's Accent that their music style was heavily based on The Who. Makes sense when you think about it!I liked the early Stones. My favorite is probably, "Get Off of My Cloud" "Gimme Shelter" and "Can't You Hear Me Knockin'" Pretty good too, tho, I have never really been a Stones Fan or even The Who for that matter. Played out.
This Party Sucks!
RIP John!
Dee Claw. Ya gotta admit, pretty clever for a Purrson...
No idea. He just emailed me one day last June ('09) and said he decided to end it. He said he might pick it up again some day on his own blog, but I don't know what blog that might be. This was long before we switched the GPPN over to the Hideout, by the way. He's also no longer a member of the Hideout (some other guy named Nick who joined recently has his old profile URL now). Go figure. You can still find his old episodes here.
What happened to this show???
Check out the live stream (starts tonight at 8pm)! http://www.rocketscienceaudio.com/RocketScienceAudioPresents/tabid/64/Default.aspx
I dunno, is it just me, or do I not wish that I had written other people's songs? If you like 'em, just cover 'em, it's garage rock... These songs are our patrimony, dammit, for being the only people who care about 'em!
"It's Been A Long Journey" by the Roots.
