Hell yeah. Blast that shit. Have you heard of Beast in The Field? They're this crazy 2 piece from Mt. Pleasant, MI. They have this insane 12 foot high wall of amps. Check it out if you haven't already.

Have you checked out Fake Surfers from Detroit? Best punk 2 piece I've seen in quite sometime.
The Night Beats out of seattle are sick shit.
They're hardly unknown, but OFF! has been the best discovery for straight-up punk rock in the past 4 years.
Pretty pissed-off for a buncha old guys!
Do you like the experimental/lo-fi goodness of the Urinals?
Thee Swank Bastards
The Chelsea Clintons.
Muy buena.
Excelente banda.
Not at all Punk or Garage...(Except in the home recorded, DIY spirit)....but I really like these guys....
This Ventures album is full of garage pop covers. I remember when I first bought it thinking it was a bit hokey, but loving it anyway!
What do you think of Eddie and the Hot Rods' version?

THAT'S FUNNY !!!! Almost as funny as the guy who posted The Stranglers' "96 Tears" on You Tube, stating it was by The Cramps. It's still up there , by the way , despite several people leaving corrections to the obvious (Intentional?) blunder. That version, I like OK , i'M A BIGGER FAN OF THE PURPLE HELMETS , THO'.

Speaking of NOFX, you can't forget "Kill All the White Man," "Don't Call Me White," and "The Brews."
yeah , then , of course , there was David Allan Coe's two X-Rated albums. Also , the trend toward X- Rated Country Novelty songs - THE I - 90 ASSHOLE SONG ,THE RODEO SONG , The Pussycat Song , etc. I almost forgot , Chinga Chavin's Country Porn ALBUM , kind of a toned down take on DAC'S two X-Rated LPs, like a Buck Naked to Coe's GG ALLIN.

I agree... Raxola leans more uncomfortably on awkward sound and grim lyrics.

After all, the other way round..
Pity i missed this great band back then! Actually very late´70s style, indeed!
Even if the lyrics are different, the subject remains Thalidomide.
I reckon the nofx-one may be more P.C. by comparison?
My english isn´t that good but still, as you appropriately said, i feel "uncomfortable" listening to this great song! Ok, by nofx i feel uncomfortable because of the music, but this is another story ;)
That's their modus operandi... and why we really need to look elsewhere.

I'd kind of like to use Mevio but they have continually ignored my multiple requests to be approved as a producer. Dunno what's up with that.

In light of the fact that Twitter bought and is subsequently shutting down Posterous very soon, I wanted to start a discussion here about what the best podcast hosting services there are to use these days. Any opinions on the matter? The successor to Posterous is Posthaven, but it's $5/month. There's also Podomatic, Podbean, Podcast Pickle, Libsyn (also not free), Mevio, Ourmedia... any others? Which ones are best and why?
I voted for Prima Donna that year, although I was really hoping "Feral Children" would be named a "Coolest Song" during that year.
Little Steven is a twat.
Do we know a release date as of yet? Can't wait to get it and hope they do a tour for it as well.
