He really loved their "dark and sometimes scary" take on 60s pop. He's still got the cd in his car today and just keeps going through the album again and again. The pupil becomes teacher haha.   • John Battles Dallas Punk gods , The Nervebreakers , have a new album out on Steady Freddie Records. The Nervebreakers ruled the roost in the Late 70's/Early 80s , and they opened for The Sex Pistols , The Ramones and The Clash. They also backed Roky Erickson. They reformed in 2008 and recorded this album which is just now seeing the light of day. Trust me , it sounds like '77-'78 all over again. All fans of ''Killed By Death" style Punk are advised to buy the album , which is called "Face Up To Reality".
